Protest the Hero in studio with producer Julius "Juice" Butty
Protest the Hero have updated their official Facebook page, saying that they’ve been fine-tuning drums and bass and that things are going “fabulous”.
One could extrapolate from “fine tuning” that they’re nearly finished drums and bass, which would mean great progress! However, guitars, vocals, and overdubs are a mountainous part of recording, so don’t expect them to be finished any time soon. Here’s hoping we get some video updates in the near future!
In other news, Protest the Hero have also updated the Official Protest the Hero Store with a few new t-shirts. Could anyone enlighten us on the subject matter of these t-shirts? It could be possible that it relates to the theme of the new record…or not.

I can’t wait for the new album, I have the utmost faith in you guys as musicians and as people- as a piano player of fifteen years, I like to pretend I can recognize musical talent, and you guys have it in spades.

Anyone know what song is on each shirt? I can’t see the lyrics on a few of them.
I have been a big fan of you guys since my best friend introduced me to “Kezia” in 2007, and I am dying to hear the new stuff! “Fortress” will always be solidified into my top 3 albums of all time, and you guys not only kick ass live (I saw you in Chicago in 2009), but are one of the funniest/goofiest groups of dudes I’ve ever seen. My dream is to one day meet you guys, and maybe even play opener for one of your shows with my band. I’m sure you guys are doing a great job on the record, so with that I just want to wish you all best of luck with the rest of it, and come back to Chicago soon! Take care.

i have all the new shirts that they put up cause their awesome and none of them except the orange one have anything to do with the new album the law of secrecy shirt is all about the song wretch…. the red one is all about bone marrow… the order of alchemy(black) is all baout palms read… the art of balance is all about goddes gagged(maybe godess bound i forgot its one of them)… and finaly the orange one i cant make out what its from so im guessing it has something to do with the new album but i am not sure on that…. hope u find this helpful…. add me on facebook http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100000773031555
